automatedev.ai is the agentic OS for software engineering. It takes an idea, a ticket, or a bug and drives it through a full, observable run — plan, build, test, review, security-scan, and deliver — returning a pull request that is ready to approve. A human stays in control at every gate.
Why we built it
AI copilots stop at the keystroke — they make an engineer faster, but a person still owns the whole job. We wanted agents that own the loop end to end, with the guardrails a real engineering team needs: gates, isolation, testing, review, and an audit trail. And we wanted it to run where your code already lives.
What we believe
- Own the job, not the keystroke. The value is a finished, verified change — not another suggestion to review by hand.
- Autonomy needs gates. The engineer is the decision-maker. The agent does the work; a human approves the plan and the merge.
- Your code is yours. Self-hosted and single-tenant, so source, prompts, and keys never leave your network.
- The engine should be swappable. A vendor-neutral provider factory means you are never locked to one model.
How it works, briefly
Every change is an observable run. You watch the agent's plan, actions, and diffs live, and you can allow, always-allow, or reject any step. The change is tested like a real user, then reviewed and security-scanned, with findings fixed and re-validated in the same run. It integrates with GitHub and Jira, and runs on your own infrastructure.
